Job Description

Key component of this position are :

  • Lead a cross-disciplinary team of 5-10 engineers including optical, electrical, mechanical and software engineers.
  • Understand basic principle of wafer alignment, reticle stage and reticle handler.
  • Provide fast & accurate competence to complex manufacturing and customer problems.
  • Improve utilization efficiency of D&E resources.
  • Increase focus towards quality issues.
  • Provide consistent execution quality and unified communication channel to our customers.
  • Minimize disruption to D&E's structural commitments.
  • Execute activities for determining problem, containment, cause and solution
  • Communicate status / results to managers, customers, and technical leadership
  • Structure and prioritize work for engineers
  • Analyze and improve processes.
  • Investigate past issue and provide and implement improvement plan (ZERO REPEAT).
  • Travel :

    Nominal travel ( 5%) to Europe, Asia, and within the US can be expected on a routine basis.


    Minimum : BS (MS preferred) in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or other Engineering discipline, with an emphasis on optical system, electronics or software design and analysis.

    Applicants with a related bachelor’s degree and significant related experience will be considered.


    Two to five years of experience required. Experience in working with engineers across disciplines to solve complex problems or related experience desired.

    Strong emphasis problem solving and effective communication. Photolithography knowledge and ASML tool experience is a plus.
