The Sales Advisor is responsible to generate excitement, brand awareness and increase product sales through event sampling and promotions.

S / he will consistently engage customers to promote products and positively represent vendor clients within the store to drive sales.

Duties, Responsibilities and Expected Contributions

  • Business / Functional Results Direct all activities engaged in successful events, promotion and sales of vendor products Drive incremental sales through the consistent execution of the event sampling and promotion process : mention the vendor’s name, communicate key selling points, and ask for the sale Engage customer to promote and increase sales of product;
  • maintain friendly positive image, attitude and appearance Set up, organize the equipment; including preparing vendor product according to instructions to the Demonstration Production Information Sheet (DPIS);
  • close down equipment incorporating cleaning and sanitizing Interact with customers by explaining the product; answer customer questions on the product and the general layout of the store Prepare adequate supplies and sample amounts for events to ensure well planned, high quality demonstrations are held Assist and partner with other Brand Ambassadors on events that require a team-

    oriented environment or to cover during lunches and breaks Provide daily, accurate and timely reporting on hours-worked, sales results and feedback on customer’s comments of product Perform other related duties as assigned. Position

    Requirements

    A) Experience Required · High School diploma or GED required · Minimum : 1 years of experience working in retail / grocery, sales, restaurant / food service, highly desirable B) Functional Knowledge and Business Expertise Required · Conscientious about timeliness of assignments and quality of work product · Accountable for specific performance · NEHA Professional Food Handler Certification (where applicable) C) Attributes / Competencies · Accountable · Customer Focus · Drive for Results · Informing · Organizational Purpose
