Manager : Kangyi Mao, VP of Strategic Initiatives and Chief of Staff

POSITION SUMMARY :

We are seeking an individual as Director of Strategic Initiatives to support the preparation and execution of key corporate activities and strategic initiatives.

The ideal candidate has strong work ethic and exceptional intellectual, business, organizational and communication skills, is highly entrepreneurial, drives order from ambiguity, and pulls in a diversity of perspectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

Support management and / or execution of strategic initiatives with substantial financial and / or strategic significance for the company

  • Proactively seek out and identify opportunities to grow and impact the business
  • Conduct financial / strategic analysis, program design, and / or execution oversight
  • Manage complex problems and senior stakeholders to rapidly drive towards value delivery
  • Support critical events and internal / external communications for the CEO and leadership team

  • Support designing, planning, material preparation, and execution of Board of Directors / Leadership Team meetings / corporate events / conferences
  • Support preparation of various internal / external CEO activities, including material preparation and key messages development to drive impact
  • Support other priority activities within the Office of the CEO and various BUs / functions as needed
  • Develop and maintain a healthy working relationship with corporate leadership team and various internal / external stakeholders;
  • including directly working with CEO / Executive Leadership Team on relevant initiatives

  • Act as an advisor to the leadership team where appropriate, leveraging the perspectives from standing at the corporate hub of information exchange
  • Organize and archive important materials and reports; ensure security, integrity and confidentiality of data and other information

    Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (MBA, PhD, etc.) strongly preferred
  • Minimum 4+ years of relevant working experience in fast-paced dynamic environment, background in management consulting or program management preferred but not required;
  • healthcare experience strongly preferred

  • Advanced analytical capability, including financial and operational modeling and proficiency with MS Excel
  • Excellent interpersonal communication, organization, and business skills; proficient at PowerPoint document creation and other forms of written communication
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality
