Marketing Opportunity in Financial Services

Advisor Marketing Consultant

Location : 20 E Thomas Rd Suite 2000 Phoenix, AZ 85012

Summary :

This opportunity is for a marketing guru with knowledge and skills across a variety of areas. The ideal candidate is a people-

person : someone who can build rapport easily over the phone or in person. He / she will understand the opportunities and challenges financial advisors face in utilizing common marketing tools to achieve their business objectives.

He / she will work with advisors 1 : 1 to help them leverage the marketing tools and support available from Advisor Group to help meet their goals and objectives.

The ability to train and understand best practices to coach advisors is also core to this role. This position has a very high degree of creative freedom and visibility.

Responsibilities : Consulting & Coaching

Consulting & Coaching

  • Conduct in person and over the phone marketing consultations with financial advisors and their support teams to understand their business needs and achieve their business goals by helping to create an effective marketing plan
  • Facilitate and develop resources for peer to peer study groups
  • Own advisor coaching program and related documents and processes. Serve as the go-to resource and liaison for all coaching program-
  • related requests and inquiries

    Marketing Education

  • Develop marketing how to resources for the various levels of advisors’ marketing expertise from beginner to expert - with an appropriate mix of mediums (e.
  • g. video how to library, podcasts, webinars, case studies, etc.)

  • Develop PowerPoint presentations and deliver live and virtual presentations for national conferences as well as other regional events that speak to advisor success stories, marketing best practices, and the programs offered by the advisor marketing team
  • Measure the success of our efforts and optimize your approach based on the resulting data.
  • All other duties as assigned.
  • Education Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, high school diploma (or equivalent) in combination with significant experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent is required.

    Basic Requirements :

  • Highly experienced in digital marketing mediums (websites, podcasts, videos), preferably in the financial services industry
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office tools
  • Ability to create and edit videos, and presentations for webinars
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience working with executives and other senior-level leaders
  • Comfort with public speaking
