About Customer Success at ConsenSys :
The Customer Success team provides dedicated, tailor made support solutions to emerging ConsenSys ventures. Being a newly formed function within ConsenSys, Network Operations Engineers will have ample latitude in shaping and executing a shared customer success vision.
About the role :
The Lead Network Operations Engineer will serve to guide network operations teams while synthesizing, designing, and managing change across the broader Customer Success teams.
Significant experience leading, and working alongside, network operations teams in a collaborative, consensus building environment.
Demonstrate strong network operations expertise while serving as a point of guidance to the ConsenSys network operations teams.
Ability to synthesize customer needs and drive change in a rapidly evolving ecosystem.
Experience managing, supporting, deploying, and troubleshooting network infrastructure and monitoring services, including fault handling and appropriate escalation.
Modern programming experience in Java / Python / C++.
Experience with data hosting services Azure / AWS.
Experience designing and executing Disaster Recovery plans and methodologies.
Contribute to cultivation and maintenance of technical documentation of ConsenSys Network Operations processes and procedures.
Nice to have :
Demonstrable long-term experience in customer management, change management, and business development.
A strong understanding of Ethereum, differences between private (permissioned) blockchain networks and the Ethereum public mainnet, and a passion to continue developing oneself in this area.
Demonstrated ability to think on feet and resolve issues in a fast paced, emerging ecosystem.
Technical aptitude and ability to learn new software programs.
Familiarity and interest in non-hierarchical decision-making and decentralized systems.
