term best to stay ahead of competition. We are looking for a Senior Finance Manager to provide decision support and lead the financial planning for the Cloud and Enterprise COGS and Gross Margin.

The role is a fantastic opportunity to firsthand experience how the intelligent cloud and intelligent edge will shape the next phase of innovation, deeply understand cloud economics at scale and drive cost improvements towards steady state gross margin.

Responsibilities

Conduct financial analysis and provide deep business insights into the C+E Azure, SaaS and Licensing COGS and Gross Margin performance.

Lead monthly and quarterly finance health review with MCI finance executives to articulate performance vs. expectations and provide cost improvement recommendations to aid margin expansion.

Own the operational driver analysis, messaging on the sequential & yearly Gross Margin performance for CFO review, preview process.

Provide key insights on business health trends to finance leadership team for effective decision making. Partner with Azure Engineering, Customer Support & Service teams to develop ROI frameworks and conduct key performance indicators reviews to help drive towards steady state cost, quality parity with competition for non-

capacity COGS. Execute core monthly financial processes, reporting and provide visibility into execution variance versus plan.

Communicate results to Engineering business partners and facilitate trade off decision making to mitigate financial risk.

Build driver-based models to develop forecast, budget and LRP targets for non-capacity COGS. Partner with peer MCI finance teams to understand capacity COGS to articulate the all up Gross Margin story.

Partner across finance orgs, including revenue, COGS workload, R&D and customer support to drive results

Qualifications

Requirements and Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in business / finance or realted field, or computer science / engineering MBA preferred 6+ years of relevant finance, analysis or business experience with progressive advancement within your discipline Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking Proven data and financial modeling capabilities and ability to work with financial systems Ability to communicate complex analysis in a simple way.

Executive level oral and written communication skills. Proven leadership skills, with demonstrated results in proactively driving and delivering high value / high-

impact project results through both individual and v-team efforts Self-starter driving best-in-class decision support in ambiguous environments Strong partnering capabilities, with the ability to influence others without direct authority and appropriately push back when required Strongly prefer deep understanding of the technology industry, particularly commercial public and private cloud services, business models and economics.

Comfort working at multiple altitudes, from strategic / high-level projects to detailed COGS analysis Ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines, quickly prioritize for impact and the resourcefulness to deliver
