Reporting to the VP of Publishing, the Director of User Acquisition - Mobile is responsible for building and driving the performance-

based user acquisition strategy across all mobile titles in the West. This role will lead paid acquisition marketing efforts to meet or exceed targets including ROAS and other internal KPI goals.

The Director of UA will oversee a team of performance-based marketers for all planning, managing, analyzing and reporting all performance marketing efforts, working closely with Product Marketing, Product Management, Business Intelligence and other groups within NCWest.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Develop industry leading Mobile User Acquisition initiatives that ensure high volume acquisition of quality players to achieve target KPI and revenue goals
  • Create and execute on multi-million dollar performance-based marketing campaigns across various mobile titles
  • Measure impact of marketing programs on customer behavior, apply insights to refine strategies
  • Innovate and implement creative marketing strategies, optimize on ongoing improvements to drive positive, scalable results
  • Collaborate with game teams and BI to align UA strategies with player behaviors, using quantitative insights to drive recommendations
  • Manage external partnerships including media agencies, distributors, affiliates and more
  • Work closely with other key company stakeholders to ensure best in class strategy and tactical execution while leading and mentoring a team of performance-based marketers
  • Willingness to get your hands dirty while maintaining ownership of strategic plans
  • REQUIREMENTS :

  • Bachelor’s degree mandatory, Master’s a plus
  • 5+ years of experience in Mobile User Acquisition, within Gaming ideally
  • Strong knowledge of the iOS and Android marketplaces
  • Deep knowledge and working experience with Self-Attributing Networks, Ad Networks, DSPs, Offerwalls, Influencers, and Affiliate Networks
  • Proven track record of success launching mobile tiles from pre-soft launch planning to worldwide release
  • Understanding of multiple techniques to identify advertising fraud
  • Strong, thorough, and deep understanding of A / B testing and creating A / B test environments
  • Full knowledge and understanding of mobile integrations and back-end systems
  • Experience working with and vetting vendors to optimize Marketing tech stack
  • Strong business logic and able to quickly identify new opportunities to acquire new and engaged users
  • Track record of success building and managing lean UA teams
  • Deep knowledge of mobile attribution
  • Operated at Senior Manager / Director level
  • Existing relationships with Facebook, Google, Apple and other companies within the mobile UA ecosystem
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Advanced analytic and quantitative skills
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SQL, Tableau, Google Docs, Keynote, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally
  • Willingness to relocate to San Mateo, CA
