Offers strategic insights to improve the profitability and long-term sustainability of retail operations, including assessing future alternative operating models, processes, and technology to drive greater cost efficiencies.

Provides leadership in defining and planning for the execution of critical cross-functional initiatives and projects. Plays a central role in assisting the Head of Retail Execution and Metro Market Leaders in increasing the effectiveness of the retail operations by analyzing opportunities and issues, uncovering insights, and implementing necessary actions through partnership with sales and retail leaders across the region.

  • Responsibilities : Translate broad strategic imperatives and priorities into actionable guiding principles and key metrics to ensure effective retail execution, consistently across all markets;
  • Demonstrate decision-making and communicate sense of urgency in meeting all agreed upon retail execution elements, and oversee regional execution;
  • Coach Retail Store Supervisors on Leadership Skills, with emphasis on Emotional Intelligence, Critical Thinking, Decision Making and Coaching;
  • Partner with Retail Leaders to analyze issues, determine root causes and apply changes to retail operations to provide continuous improvement;
  • Oversee the implementation and execution of retail tools, technologies, and processes in support of retail effectiveness priorities while maintaining an enterprise-

  • wide perspective; Partner with the Training Leaders to develop state-of-the-art content and material for retail training, certification, and auditing in alignment with the Blueprint identity to enable retail teams to offer a world class retail customer experience;
  • Understand key market dynamics and customer engagement models, and develop specific programs to increase all levels of engagement at the retail stores;
  • Identify and collect critical insights, at the market and store levels, to support educated decision making. Maintain relationships with regional leaders at our retail partners.

    Locations : Bay area, central valley, CA and Nevada and / or southern California / Los Angeles Areas.


  • Qualifications : Minimum 3-5 years of retail experience or other relevant sales experience; Bachelor’s degree required, MBA / Master’s degree preferred;
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills; Strong interpersonal skills we want to work with fun people! Ability to drive meaning out of large data sets, apply analysis, and make actionable recommendations that build Sunrun’s retail business;
  • Ability to use data visualization tools required, with strong preference for Data Studio, Tableau, and MS Power BI; Passion for clean energy a plus, but a desire to be part of a mission-

  • driven fast-paced company trying to disrupt an incumbent industry is a prerequisite; Previous Retail Store Supervisory experience preferred;
  • Availability to travel across the US.
