Technical Marketing Manager

Join ForeScout’s technical marketing team and become a subject matter expert on ForeScout’s network and IoT security products.

Analyze competitive products and develop technical sales and marketing assets to demonstrate ForeScout’s unique capabilities and competitive advantages.

Create and deliver compelling presentations, engaging demo experiences and on-demand content to evangelize ForeScout products and solutions.

Responsibilities :

  • Hands-on proficiency in ForeScout’s products with ability to demonstrate our unique capabilities and differentiated use cases
  • Analyze leading competitors in the network, endpoint and IoT security segments and become the go-to subject matter expert for the field and product organizations
  • Create technical field enablement material, customer-facing content and technical product presentations
  • Develop and deliver engaging demos at industry events and conferences, executive and analyst briefings, and product reviews and bakeoffs
  • Create and deliver competitive assets for field and channel teams to help understand competitor strengths and weaknesses, product positioning, sales tactics and target markets.
  • Collaborate with product, strategy and sales teams to research and analyze competitors capabilities; apply competitive intelligence to help prioritize product roadmap and influence sales strategy
  • Participate in customer forums, understand their use cases, business and technical challenges and brainstorm new capabilities
  • Deliver customer webinars and support technical demand generation initiatives
  • Requirements :

  • 5+ years experience in technical marketing, competitive intelligence, product management, sales engineering or related discipline
  • Experience and knowledge of enterprise IT security products
  • Strong understand of networking protocols / technologies is a must
  • Experience developing technical presentations, internal and field-facing competitive assets and engaging product demos / videos
  • Previous experience and knowledge of IoT is a plus
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop relationships with internal and field stakeholders
  • Ability to multi-task while maintaining attention to detail
  • Motivated and self-driven, ability to operate with minimum supervision
  • Enjoy working in fast-paced, innovative and high-growth environment
  • Willingness to travel up to 10%, including international travel
  • Certifications are a plus : CCNA, CCNP, CISSP, CISA, Security+, CCSP etc.
  • Education :

    Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related discipline
