Work Shift :

1ST SHIFT (United States of America)

This position is responsible for working with the Tyson Walmart Retail Sales and Walmart to monitor, track and identify opportunities for improving Walmart's GRS forecast effectiveness.

  • Other responsibilities include : use Wal-Mart Retail Link DSS, CPFR and SWAS Reports, and Tyson demand systems for collaborating with sales and customer to measure and report the order and forecast accuracy;
  • prepare reports, and participate in the resolution of exceptions and exception reporting; adjusting sales forecast for store realignments, distributions changes and modular updates;
  • creating Wal-Mart COMAC Distro Scripts for sales promotion events; monitoring and report Wal-Mart's long / short inventory positions;
  • monitoring daily orders vs. forecast; balancing inventories; adding aged product / order adjustments; tracking late trucks;
  • responding to any shortages at the DC level and working through any code date issues.

    There is a high level of accountability to the customer for fill rate, in stocks, DC turns and service levels that are to be maintained.

    The potential candidates must perform other duties as needed.


  • Education : Bachelor's degree or relevant professional experience.
  • Experience : 3+ years forecasting and / or demand planning preferred.
  • Computer Skills : Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; above average Microsoft Excel and Access Skills.
  • Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Special Skills : Time management, multi-tasking, problem solving, and being a team player is a must.
  • Supervisory : NA
  • Travel : Local travel as needed to Wal-Mart Bentonville Offices.
