12 MONTH CONTRACT
The Graphics Coordinator’s main function is to ensure the fast & accurate development of packaging for 8th Avenue Food & Provisions Nut Butter division.
This person will have a working knowledge of current North American food regulations and will work with cross functional teams to ensure label information is accurate;
obtaining the proper approvals. This individual should have previous experience with retail and / or foodservice in a support role to be able to also assist the commercialization team as needed.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS SUMMARY :
New Product Development & Product Packaging changes : Participate & manage the approval process for all artwork internally Manage the approvals and uploads to customer portals for artworkMaintain & update project task listsMaintain accurate records of label updates and ensure the accuracy of Digital Asset Management SystemAssist in maintaining accurate records of all Nut Butter projects (includes labels, cost reviews, formulas, contracts, etc.
Finalize other packaging specific attributes for product specifications, such as packaging codes, lid colors, tray / case print and jar print formats.
Submit new products for Kosher certification and others as needed

Other tasks may include : Complete customer formsPrepare and distribute data input for Commercialization reviewsUpdate packaging transition / new product files with packaging component detailAssist the plants with preparing and compiling documentation for SQF audits
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE :
BS / BA degree preferred
2 years experience in Food or Packaged goods industry
Understanding of pre-press, print production and / or graphic design techniques and processes a plus
Excellent oral & written communication skills
Competent Microsoft product skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
