Job Title : Network Operations Center Supervisor

You will be responsible the efficient operation of the Network Operations Center (NOC) and the personnel assigned, in support of business and residential internet services and long-haul fiber data services in California and Nevada.
Services include the city of Ontario, Rancho Cucamonga, and Vallejo network structures.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise Network Operations Center personnel.
Coordinate and Supervise Field Technicians in support of customer services and repair.
Supervise residential orders as necessary.
Supervise customer conflict resolution.
Supervise sales to cash coordination to ensure residential orders are processed in the most efficient way possible.
Supervise process business orders through client's internal system.
Supervise required documents are accurate and accounted for.
Coordinate with Client's Network Engineer team for upgrades, colo's, orders involving third party providers, etc.
Monitor the production of the Field Technician team as well as the individual and adjust accordingly.
Set up internal training scenarios to strengthen the field tech skill set and morale.
Frequently communicate or have weekly meetings to address corporate information or to discuss individual orders.
Provision and test E-Line, E-LAN and Internet services.
Develop and execute test plans to check infrastructure and system performance.
Draw network diagrams.
Enforce policies for standardizing systems.
Document network policies and procedures in a clear concise way.
Qualifications / Duties :
Previous experience in networking, IT, or other related fields.
Familiarity with TCP / IP.
Familiarity with MetroEthernet standards.
Strong understanding of layer 2 and layer 3 of the OSI model.
Familiarity with OSPF.
Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to deal with change.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
CCNA or equivalent training a plus.
Coordinate scheduled calls with customer.
Work with the customer to schedule site walk and establish a meet-me-point.
Work with the customer's engineering and Client's engineering to create an agreeable scope-of-work (SOW).
Work with Client team to establish required permits and begin process of procuring where applicable.
Send out SOW to construction vendors to obtain cost estimates where applicable.
Work with Client team to procure necessary material / equipment for project.
Once construction vendor is approved, schedule construction and monitor progression.
Monitor the construction schedule and update the customers of changes.
Coordinate scheduled calls with the established construction vendor when applicable.
Dispatch team to pull fiber from meet-me-point into shelter, install equipment, and test fiber.
Send OTDR results to the customer for official completion of individual project.
Monitor the fiber drop progression and make suggestions to increase production.
Create weekly splice schedule for optimal production.
Create cost estimates for customers needing conduit placement, existing conduit discovery / testing, etc.
