Reports To : Vice President of Senior Management
The Regional Manager (RM) is responsible for leading the implementation process of new ScribeAmerica™ contracts and managing existing ScribeAmerica™ client contracts in an assigned region.
The RM draws on their significant experience in the medical scribe industry to ensure high quality ScribeAmerica™ client contracts.
The RM is a member of the ScribeAmerica™ Management Team and has a direct impact on the management and policy priorities of ScribeAmerica™.
During an implementation,the RM is responsible a for timely and successful setup of our services according to client needs, objectives, and contract specifications.
The RM partners with the client to optimize scribe utilization and workflows. Working in conjunction with their assigned manager, the RM will troubleshoot any operational issues, delays, or concerns.
On some occasions, the RM may be expected to handle several implementations at a time. The RM will also manage and lead Junior Project Leaders (JPL) and / or Temporary Project Leaders (TJPL) during the implementation phase.
The RM is responsible for the ongoing management and maintenance of existing ScribeAmerica™ client contracts in their region as well as monitoring and addressing the ongoing needs of those respective clients.
These existing client contracts may either be those that the RM implemented or inherited or sites where the RM is assisting SPL in management.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
Duties and Responsibilities
Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our services according to client needs and objectives.
Working a minimum number of shifts in the clinical environment (minimum of a monthly onsite presence at each location / facility working clinical shifts).
RM must work a minimum of 2 shift per week (8 shifts per month), rotating through all of their sites (but no more than 3 shifts per week) unless approved in advance by the managing VPSM.
On a quarterly basis, each site will have had a minimum of 1 shift worked by the RM. However it is understood that this may change on a monthly basis due to the needs of the area.
This is required for all current and future outpatient, Hospitalist Medicine and Emergency Department contracts.
Development timelines and weekly status updates of projects
Operate as the client’s main point of contact for all matters during the implementation and maintain a strong relationship with all clients in the region
Communicate with the facility human resources, IT, and other facility liaisons to coordinate compliance and develop a detailed pre-employment process.
Assist with troubleshooting and problem-solving any operational matters during or after the implementation phase (e.g. implementation delays)
Attend client meetings as needed or requested, either in person or via phone
Continually manage and remain accountable for all operational matters the for the life of the ScribeAmerica™ client contract for contracts the RM implemented or inherited.
Conduct an in depth monthly review of each siteto ensure excellence at each ScribeAmerica™ client contract.
Ensure each assigned ScribeAmerica™ client contract remains in good standing including but not limited to ensuring
client goals are being met
full coverage of shifts and adequate staffing
Assist the SPL in the management of their contract if it falls within the RM’s region.
Operate as senior managerial support for any employees at your assigned ScribeAmerica™ client contracts.
Train and supervise the local Chief Scribe (CS) in your region
Conduct daily calls with JPLs to ensure seamless and timely implementation progress
Clearly communicate the progress and / or health of ScribeAmerica™ client contracts to the Senior Management Team (SMT)
Active participation in the development of operational strategies and company-wide best practices
Be on-site (at an implementation or established site) three times each week
Performs other duties, as assigned
Required Education and Experience
This position requires a college degree or the equivalent

Thorough understanding of medical facility workflow, efficiency management, and nuances of medical documentation.

Position Type / Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position and hours of work and days vary Monday through Sunday depending on the facility contract and scribe hours needed.
Travel is expected occasionally for this position between local hospitals and medical facilities, as required by the particular scribe program.
