The successful candidate will :
Teach cadaver-based human anatomy to medical students.
Mentor medical students throughout their medical school training.
Serve on committees to fulfill institutional and departmental needs.
Conduct academic research and guide students in scholarly activities.
Have the opportunity to submit competitive grant proposals to external agencies for funding.
It is preferred that applicants have experience in teaching one or more of the following :
An earned Ph.D. / D.O. / M.D. / DVM degree or equivalent terminal degree; an excellent research track record as well as documented teaching expertise;
evidence of independent research ability; evidence of ability to mentor students; excellent interpersonal / team / collaborative / leadership skills;
successful candidates should demonstrate active participation / publications and / or scholarly activities in the field of medical education.
