As our reputation for proficient delivery of complex projects grows even stronger, we have a need for an Improvements Programme Manager to join the team in Warrington.

Improvements Programme Manager

The Role :

The Improvements Programme Manager is a senior role focused on delivering efficiencies in SMPrO. The Improvements Programme Manager will effectively organise, plan, coordinate, deliver and report business improvements across SMPrO.

The role has a strategical focus in terms of being the integrator, influencer and leader of the improvements programme, and also a tactical focus in terms of delivery of specific improvement workstreams and project management of DSA tasks.

Accountabilities :

  • Drive change in the alliance through delivery of improvement programme, within agreed budget, and timeframe
  • Support and demonstrate commitment to the company mission, vision and core values
  • Responsibilities :

  • Principal focal point and liaison with improvement workstream leads, and senior management representatives
  • Participate and contribute to required monthly project review and reporting cycles, covering all aspects of performance
  • Develop and maintain sustainable business relationships with key stakeholders including SL and partner company representatives.
  • Monitor and manage the delivery of improvements work scope, to ensure maximum efficiency within agreed time
  • Develop and maintain communication plan, ensuring alliance successes are shared
  • Develop, implement, and project manage specific improvement workstreams
  • Your background :

  • HND or degree qualified in technical, engineering or project management related subject
  • Previous experience within the Nuclear industry
  • Track record in project management, team leadership
  • Experience in working in a successful alliance
  • Proven and effective inter-personal and communication skills
  • Good understanding of commercial and contract administration
  • A full job specification is available.

    Security clearance :

    Due to the nature of work to be undertaken applicants will be required to meet certain residency criteria in order to attain a minimum level of UK security clearance if not already security cleared to a minimum SC level.
