What's next in your Accounts Receivables Manager career? The Accounts Receivable Manage r located at the Batteries Plus Bulbs corporate office and national headquarters in Hartland, WI, will oversee all accounts receivable credit and collections functions with our vendors and commercial / business-to-business customer accounts nationwide, perform credit checks on new commercial customers, administer and monitor new franchisee fee programs, perform cash flow analysis, manage a small team of AR staff, and ensure timely collection of cash while achieving collection time KPIs.

The ideal Accounts Receivable Manager will have 5+ years of experience in accounts receivable with business-to-business credit and collections experience, 3+ years in a lead or supervisory role within the accounting field, advanced Excel skills, a Bachelor's Degree, comfort learning new ERP and technology systems, strong leadership skills and exceptional customer service skills.

Responsibilities :

  • Collection of payments from commercial business accounts nationwide
  • Conduct and run credit checks for new potential business accounts
  • Monitor collection metrics to AR collections with KPI goals
  • Lead, coach, and manage a small team of accounts receivable staff
  • Administer and monitor new franchisee fee programs
  • Maintain reconciliation of accounts receivable aging to General Ledger
  • Become subject matter expert on technology systems for the accounts receivable function
  • Qualifications :

  • 5+ years in accounts receivable including credit and B2B collections
  • 3+ years in a lead or supervisory role within the accounting related field
  • Experience using collection management tools and utilizing credit check tools such as Dunn and Bradstreet or Experian credit reports related to business customers
  • Flexibility of scheduling to meet heavy workloads and demands of extra hours, especially during the quarterly and year-end audit period
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, related field or experience in lieu of
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Proficient navigating ERP systems and learning new technology
  • Demonstrate strong customer services skills and the ability to build relationships with business accounts
  • Excellent project management skills and exceptional people management skills
