Scope Responsibility

The successful candidate will be responsible for schedule consulting at program level (overseeing many projects) in all areas of scheduling from pre-

construction to close out. Working closely with the both client cost management / project controls team and the construction manager.

Job Objectives

  • Implementing best practices and reporting trends both internally and externally.
  • Create and analyze project schedules using Primavera P6
  • Working independently is crucial.
  • Create, manage, and oversee schedules using critical path method.
  • Actively work with project managers and construction firms to maintain schedule integrity.
  • Able to produce high level and 1, 3, 6 month look ahead from P6 for reporting.
  • Working with Contractors and Sub Contractors on daily basis.
  • Prepare and update monthly progress reports.
  • Actively monitor and communicate any possible project issues that could delay the schedule.
  • Working closely with various disciplines in project teams to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the schedules produced without compromising your independence as a scheduler so you are in a position to advise project management on issues requiring judgment.
  • Technical Ability Requirements : The Scheduler Manager must have a strong technical knowledge in schedule management. In addition, the individual must have strong analytical skills scheduling and critical path methodology.

    The individual must have a good understanding Understand the contractual clauses as it applies to planning and scheduling.

    Ability to understand and accurately interpret construction documents (drawings, specifications, contracts / general conditions) at all levels of design.

    Functions (Duty / Accountability)

  • Produce program-level reporting metrics to include Schedule Performance Index,
  • Baseline Execution Index, Criticality Index and Longest Path Length Index reporting
  • Assesses schedule performance against program milestones
  • Coordinate with all organizational subject matter experts to ensure accurate reporting
  • Collate project-level schedule reporting to produce program-level schedule reporting
  • Coordinate the alignment of the project-level schedules with the Master Program Schedule
  • Provide data required for Earned Value Management
  • Perform impact analyses and schedule updates as required
  • Oversee and proactively provides guidance to project-level schedule consultants
  • Perform schedule forecasting as required
  • Incorporate schedule Change Orders in coordination with Program Change Management
  • Support project-level trend management
  • Prepare owner estimates and lead estimate review meetings
  • Educational and Professional Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s Degree from accredited institution
  • 10 + years of experience in commercial and industrial construction in project controls (Planning and Scheduling, EVA)
  • Prefer experience in biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. Experience in other related industries are acceptable
