Qualifications : Must be able to pass extensive background check in accordance with Kaw Nation Gaming Commission regulations to obtain gaming license.
Knowledge of food preparation required. Able to work any hours any shift Monday through Sunday. Frequent lifting, may occasionally be required to lift in excess of 50 pounds.
Position requires frequent bending, stooping, walking, and standing, and must be self motivated and able to work independently.
All Kitchen employees are to keep their hands washed and wear gloves and hair nets during preparation and serving of food.
Responsibilities and Duties
The Food and Beverage Associate is in charge of preparation, serving, and Cleaning. To ensure the guests of Kaw Southwind Casino are receiving quality service.
Any questions or concerns should be directed to your immediate supervisor for clarification.
Make sure kitchen is clean and ready for business.
Get supplies needed to start your shift.
Wear gloves and hair nets at all times while serving or preparing of food.
Do all prep work and have specials ready for the day.
Ensure all food is served properly and temperature is in compliance.
Help prepare specials and any prep work needed for all shifts.
Assist fellow employees when needed.
Make sure the line in the kitchen keeps moving during peak times.
Responsible for stocking and cleaning area.
Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
Be courteous and professional at all times to co-workers, guests, vendors or anyone you may have contact with while on duty.
Must wear your gaming badge at all times while on duty or conducting company business.
Perform other duties that may be assigned by immediate or controlling supervisor.
