Responsibilities

A typical day as an Investment Review Administrator includes the following :

  • Review, analyze and interpret real estate documents and debt instruments to ensure compliance and feasibility for investments on behalf of client retirement accounts.
  • Consult and interact with mortgage brokers, loan servicers, escrow officers, attorney’s, clients and their financial advisors on completing investment transactions.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally, both written and verbally with clients, transactional partners, peers, and management.
  • Process cash payments for the investment transactions.
  • Complete quality checks on work for accuracy and completeness.
  • Follow best practices and protect our clients’ information per the regulations of the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act and Bank Secrecy Act.
  • Meet SLAs (Service Level Agreements) and quantity / quality goals set by management.
  • Provide excellent service to our clients and industry partners.
  • Stay abreast of applicable banking and trust regulations set forth by the IRS and other regulatory agencies.
  • Work closely with support departments and business partners throughout the company to facilitate tasks.

  • It would be great if you possess the following :

  • Associates degree (B.A.) or 2 years progressive work experience in a cross-functional environment within a mid to large sized financial institution. (Good for you!)
  • Familiarity with IRS Regulations and ERISA law pertaining to alternative asset investing. (You’repart of a special group)
  • Familiarity with financial instruments, industry terms and standards. (Don’t worry, we’re here to help you with this)
