ABOUT THE ROLE :

We are looking for a new Senior Partner to lead our NA Retail Client Analytics practice. Gain Theory has several Retail client relationships where this leader will own client relationships and help us grow our overall Retail practice in North America.

You must be well versed in the myriad of Marketing Analytic disciplines currently employed by Retailers and other companies across industries including MMM, RGM, MTA, Social, CRM, media optimization, and other insight generating modeling solutions.

In addition, you must have experience in implementation with Retailers and Marketing organizations as either a supplier, consultant or a leader within a company implementing these types of capabilities.

From Day 1, we expect our new Senior Partner will join the North American Leadership Team (NALT) and contribute to shaping the future of our company.

These responsibilities will include :

  • Strategy Help us shape the future objectives and roadmaps to achieving those objectives
  • Clients Play a role in managing client relationships and delivering on the promises we make as a business
  • Culture Help us develop a strong, vibrant, people first culture that will be our ultimate differentiator in attracting the best talent, which will differentiate us with our clients
  • New Business Leverage personal contacts and relationship building to help grow our client list, and participate in engaging new opportunities
  • Product Development Shape our products and how we deliver them to clients across analytic solutions, software, consulting frameworks and more
  • While the specific responsibilities that the Partner focuses most will differ depending on the needs of the organization and specific skillsets you bring to Gain Theory, the Partner will be expected to engage in all the above at various moments as a Senior Leader within the business.

    YOUR IMPACT :

  • Lead existing Retailer client Analytics relationships
  • Develop new Retailer and other client relationships
  • Build Gain Theory capabilities, products and tools for Global Retail practice
  • Train others on Retailer Analytics and approaches to leading client engagements
  • Act as team member of North American Leadership Team
  • YOUR QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or Advanced degree preferred
  • 10+ years related work experience
  • Experience in managing and mentoring team members
  • Client relationship management expertise
  • Strong analytical skills; ability to analyze raw data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations
  • Capability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
  • High attention to detail
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work with minimal guidance and take initiative on assigned tasks
  • YOUR SKILLS & ABILITIES :

  • Primary research with digital and traditional experience
  • Experience in analyzing partnerships and branded entertainment
  • Understanding of industry research sources, such as Nielsen / IRI sales data or TV / online advertising data
  • Familiarity with R, Python, SPSS and SAS, as well as Database tools (Access, Oracle, SQL) is preferred
  • Comprehensive understanding of metrics : Media (e.g. buying models, CPV, VCR, GRP), Measurement analytics, Quantitative business measures (LTV, NPV, ROI, Churn, etc.
  • Statistics (Correlations, sample sizing, etc)

  • Knowledge of visual techniques for data analysis and presentation
  • Locations preferred : Boston, Chicago and New York City
