Ensures that accurate and complete accounting, reporting and internal control systems are functioning and that all relevant records are properly maintained.
Assesses the availability of space and prepares stacking / storage plans prior to programming / contingency commodities arrivals.
Supervises the receipt of all arriving consignments. Monitors the quantity and quality of commodities stored. Carries out regular physical random warehouse checks of commodities and inventory.
Prepares all procedures and necessary steps for commodity disposal. Produces regular stock reports and daily stock positions.
Prepares loading plans.
Assigns responsibilities, takes corrective actions, demonstrates leadership and evaluates, develops and motivates employees.
Assists in the training of any counterparts in warehouse management best practice.

Minimum Qualifications - Education and Experience
Preferred Education & Experience
5-8 years of logistics management and supervisory experience preferred.
Licensures and Certifications
Required : Valid Georgia driver's license
