Job Description

The Section of Hematology and Medical Oncology at Boston University School of Medicine / Boston Medical Center seeks a Clinical Investigator to lead its program in Thoracic Oncology.

Under its new Chief, Dr. Matthew Kulke, the Hematology-Oncology Section brings the resources of a major academic medical center to serve a diverse patient population in the city of Boston and New England.

  • The Section provides a full range of modern diagnostic and therapeutic services for patients with cancer and blood diseases;
  • carries out clinical and laboratory research to improve outcomes for these diseases; and trains physicians and investigators to carry on this mission in the future.

    The new faculty will have the opportunity to lead clinical care initiatives and rapidly expanding clinical and translational research programs in GU (Thoracic) Oncology.

    They will also collaborate with both internal and external laboratory-based investigators pursuing a range of basic and translational research projects, including investigators funded in a recently funded Johnson and Johnson Innovation Lung Cancer Center at Boston University.
