Position Summary :
In this role, the successful candidate Works collaboratively with the Nurse Manager and is responsible and accountable for establishing and maintaining standards, the delivery of patient care, directing and facilitating work performance of all personnel on a defined patient care area and maximizes patient outcomes.
Job Responsibilities :
Engages in proactive unit rounds, and appropriate referrals as needed. Utilizes patient experience scores and other initiatives to improve customer satisfaction, utilizes Quality Scorecard to improve performance in timely manner.
Participates andor promotes multidisciplinary process improvement activities for unit specific and hospital wide initiatives.
Participates in and promotes problem solving in the work environment.
Includes patientfamily in care planning.
Minimum Qualifications : Preferred Qualifications :
Certification in clinical specialty recommended. 1 2 years Leadership or supervisory experience. Ability to work in surroundings with degree of dust, noise, odors, etc.
without undue discomfort. Ability to Hear, talk, walk, stand, bend and stretch. Ability to read, write and interpret documents.
Ability to sit for long periods of time at desk to perform job functions. Ability to communicate effectively with clients and co-
workers. May be required to operate and clean equipment.
