Our Global Finance team is a trusted partner and advisor to departments across Capital Group. We provide innovative, relevant, and insightful financial analysis to drive sound decisions which impact our shared objective of improving people’s lives though successful investing.

As a Senior Financial Analyst based in Irvine, CA, you will play a key role in the oversight of the management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and ad-

hoc business support for business areas across Capital Group.

What you’ll do :

  • Lead managerial financial reporting, analysis, budgeting, and ad-hoc business support for business units within Capital Group’s Service or Technology teams
  • Partner with, present to, and advise executive-level business partners
  • Guide strategic business decisions by proactively identifying trends and opportunities, performing complex analytics, and sharing options or recommendations with the potential outcomes
  • Coordinate with departments across Global Finance to ensure financial reporting and messaging is robust, timely, and accurate
  • Collaborate with peers to manage resources, enhance work processes, and improve overall service delivered to our internal and external client groups
  • Provide leadership, assess performance, and participate in training and development of junior associates
  • What we’re looking for :

  • Minimum of 6 years of related financial analysis experience and a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required; MBA or CPA strongly desired
  • Exceptional analytical skills and the ability to draw connections between operations and the financials
  • Ability to think and act independently
  • Ability to collaborate and build consensus among a broad group of stakeholders
  • Ability to communicate progress, resolve challenges, and escalate issues
  • Ability to establish strong relationships with others within and outside of Global Finance
  • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and the ability to work comfortably with other programs in Microsoft Office
