The Department of Economics at Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania is seeking to establish a pool of candidates for temporary teaching positions who may be called upon from time to time.
Future openings may be available through May 2020.
Qualifying Experience / Education : Applicants must possess a Master's Degree in Economics from an accredited institution.
Preference will be given to candidates with an ABD or a Ph.D. in Economics, and to candidates who are able to provide evidence of or show potential for effective teaching and demonstrate an ability to work with diverse populations.
Course assignments may include, but are not limited to, Principles of Microeconomics and Macroeconomics, Business and Economics Mathematics, and Business and Economics Statistics.
Supplemental Information : Review of applications will begin immediately. Finalists for the position(s) must communicate well and successfully complete a telephone interview process.
Recommendation for hiring is needed from a majority of the regular, full-time faculty within the department.
