Responsible for assisting reconciling inventory including but not limited to receiving, moving and counting. Position interacts directly with Parts Supervisor and staff to maintain, organize warehouse and assist in maintaining accurate inventory.


  • Generate requested reports
  • Accurate accounting of parts.
  • Receive / Verify / Reconcile Parts Status using PDA (Personal Digital Assistant) Tablet system. Verify shipments have been put away in an organized manner in accordance with the warehouse plan.
  • Maintain a clean, neat, orderly and safe warehouse.
  • Monitor production radio and respond to production needs.
  • Participate in weekly, monthly scheduled physical inventory.
  • Loading and / or unloading of trucks. Move materials and items from receiving to designated warehouse location by hand, cart, or forklift.
  • Verify the count of shipment at receipt of each item against packing slip or create packing slip if one is not provided.
  • Consolidate product by Brand and FIFO (First in / First out)
  • Maintain proper stacking / labeling in organized manner according to customer requirements.
  • Order picking.
  • Ensure proper parts availability to production.
  • Transfer ring of parts in the system prior to the physical movement of parts to different locations; such as taking parts to the floor.
  • Perform scheduled inspection of forklift per inspection sheet, and maintain inspection / operation log book.
  • Maintain warehouse Maintenance / Repair log
  • Properly package outgoing shipments
  • Communicate with Parts Warehouse supervisor of parts shortage and part number problem as they arise.
  • Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Two four years related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Fork Lift certification highly preferred but not required.
  • IntermediateExcel, Outlook, MS Word. Working knowledge of inventory software. (training provided)
  • Ability to read, comprehend and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

    Ability to communicate effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
