POSITION SUMMARY :
Reporting to the Manager of Training, this position will provide implementation and ongoing support for MEDITECH 6.1 throughout the Steward Health Care System.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
Execute a training and capacity building strategy for MEDITECH 6.1 across the Steward Health Care System
Provide training following MEDITECH 6.1 "go live" dates
Provide ongoing training for new hires
Act as the primary contact for clients throughout the implementation process
Providing customer service and troubleshooting application software issues
Working on a team with programmers to resolve any technical issues
Interacting with development staff, and mentoring co-workers
Processing requests for system enhancements or modifications to our evolving software
Designing and maintaining application documentation
Updating and maintaining an online project tracking system
Assist clinical departments with daily reconciliation of charge
Conduct training sessions on the applications with specific Steward workflows;
Up to 100% travel within the market to conduct new customer training and reinforcement in addition to possible overnight travel
Other tasks as assigned
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS :
Experience with MEDITECH 6.1
Multi-tasking and communicating with staff members across multiple MEDITECH applications
System implementation experience
Strong leadership and relationship-building skills
Customer service experience preferred
Willingness and flexibility to travel within the United States
Revenue Operations experience, including Patient Access, Registration, Scheduling and Charge Capture
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE / LICENSURE / TECHNICAL / OTHER :
Education : Bachelor's degree or equivalent experienced required.
Experience (Type & Length) : 10+ years' relevant work experience required.
Software / Hardware : MEDITECH 6.1; MS Office.
Position will be based in FL market (Sebastian River Medical Center; Rockledge Regional Medical Center; Melbourne Regional Medical Center) with travel required throughout the division.
