PRS IN VIVO is looking for a business development professional to join our growing team in our Skokie, IL or Teaneck, NJ office.

The business development professional will be driven, creative, and collaborative working directly with clients and with internal research teams.

You will be responsible for creating relationships with new clients through a combination of your own prospecting, leveraging your existing network of insights professionals, and pursuing leads provided by the company.

You will also provide valuable guidance throughout the sales process, project execution, and analysis.

Roles and Responsibilities :

  • Demonstrate knowledge about different types of research designs and approaches via capabilities presentations, etc.
  • Become familiar with company approaches to properly guide the research process
  • Be willing to partner with others on the sales team, as necessary, and to contribute knowledge and experience to the team
  • Create relationships with new clients through a combination of your own prospecting, leveraging your existing network, and pursuing leads provided by the company
  • Accurately forecast monthly, quarterly, and annual opportunities relative to specific goals
  • Write proposals that clearly convey recommended designs and analytic plans
  • Coordinate with internal research teams to deliver best in class reports highlighting business outcomes
  • Contribute to the evolving sales processes through collaborative best practices
  • Work closely with the SVP for all planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities
  • Job Requirements

    Skills and Requirements :

  • 5-7 years of experience in market research (supplier / agency side preferred)
  • Knowledge of different research designs / Experience with survey design for a variety of different methodologies
  • Sales success from a portfolio of services with year-over-year individual quota attainment
  • Ability to generate new business / revenue
  • Ideally have generated at least $2million+ in revenue per year in your recent role
  • Experience with CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.)
  • Strong writing, communication, and presentation skills
  • Experience writing proposals, including methodology and analysis plans
  • Passion for sales, marketing, and technology
  • Proven ability to thrive under tight deadlines while successfully juggling a multitude of projects simultaneously
  • Extreme level of energy, highly self-motivated, and a passion for success
  • Bachelor degrees, MBA a plus
  • Travel : 30% within US
