Responsible for ensuring operations of the venue, on an assigned shift, and team member performances are in accordance with policy and procedures and gaming regulations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, Federal and State laws and regulations, and Golden Nugget and departmental policies and procedures.
Consistently deliver positive, courteous and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors and fellow employees.
Ensures the highest possible standards of guest service and employee relations are maintained and carried out in a fair and equitable manner.
Assists Buffet manager with scheduling of employees and ensuring correct staffing levels and adjustment are made in accordance with guests needs.
Monitors job performance of employees and provides feedback to aid the employee in developing and enhancing skills.
Responsible for listening to, evaluating and handling guest complaints in a way that satisfies the guest.
Stay abreast of current trends and practices within area of responsibility and communicate pertinent information to management, peers, direct reports and employees as appropriate.
Promote positive public / employee relations at all times.
Maintain a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.
Safeguard the confidential information of all employee, department and company records.
Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service by discreetly notifying appropriate management of concerns and observations.
Ensure prompt and discrete notification to senior management and / or the Ethics Hotline of any observation of illegal acts and / or internal ethics violations.

EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or equivalent required.
One to two years Restaurant Management experience or two to three years supervisory experience preferred.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS :
Must possess basic mathematical skills to include ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide specific to position responsibilities.
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Language Skills :
Ability to read and understand all policies and procedures.
Must be able to communicate effectively with guests, team members and management in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.
Must be able to complete standard forms and reports.
