We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Scientific Researcher (SR) / Senior Scientific Researcher (SSR) with a background in Neuroscience and expertise in in vivo pharmacology.
The SR / SSR would join the Translational Neuroscience team to develop translational models of Multiple Sclerosis and ALS.
The candidate would design, prosecute, and analyze data from pk / pd and efficacy studies utilizing these models of neurodegenerative disease.
The individual will be required to communicate data to project teams and to collaborate with other departments as part of a larger diverse and multidisciplinary team.
Who You Are
A MS with 3+ years of relevant experience or a PhD with post-doctoral research experience in Neuroscience, Molecular Biology or a related field is required.
Experience with in vivo handling, necropsy, and dosing including p.o., i.p., i.v. and intracerebral injections, is essential.
The ideal candidate would have training in cellular and molecular biology and would be competent in a broad set of in vitro and in vivo skills including behavior, histology, cell culture, qPCR / in situ hybridization, and electrophysiology.
In addition, the candidate should be meticulously organized with outstanding time management skills. A solid understanding of statistics is required.
