The Senior Business Analyst works with the Project Manager and other IT staff delivering functional business analysis and requirements gathering services.
The Senior Business Analyst is responsible for the development of documentation for existing and proposed business processes and functional specifications, as well as the facilitation of joint application design sessions with users and IT staff.
Typically, the Senior Business Analyst is assigned to one or more business units of medium to large size and the project assignments are medium to large scale, moderately to highly complex, and / or moderately to highly visible.
From an IT Perspective this person needs to demonstrate the ability to thoroughly research projects to support Expense Plans and Project based work.
They will be performing data collections, organization, work flow, and support analysis. Provide direction and support for preparation of quality deliverables.
Lead and apply department methodologies to assignments. Ability to define the work flow for improvements and resolve issues, while documenting and presenting project status.
From an Operational Management Perspective this person will be coordinating expectations and deliverables on inter / intra projects.
Lead on departmental projects and initiatives. Manage personal and group time Expense Plans / project work. Maintain expected levels of personal productivity.
Ability to analyze data, trends, or obstacles and consider available solutions and alternative methods of proceeding. From a Business Analysis Perspective this person will be conducting the requirements gathering and design documentation activities for medium to large scale applications development, package implementation, and / or system integration projects.
From a Technology Perspective they will be developing and maintaining user documentation and instructions for all systems for which they are responsible.
Define processing logic and translates high level business requirements into detailed functional design documents.
