The role :

We are seeking a Senior Engineer, Marketing Technology & Analytics to join our Growth-MarTech Engineering team. This core team is responsible for the instrumentation and maintenance of data infrastructure which empowers the broader organization with data and insights in order to drive marketing efficiency and product iteration.

The Growth-MarTech Engineering team embodies one of SoFi’s core values in Running After Problems as we work across financial products and business teams with a portfolio of solutions for analytics tracking, marketing technologies and experimentation.

What you’ll be doing :

As part of the team, you’ll be :

A subject matter expert on SoFi’s data from origination, consumption, analysis, modeling, and reporting.

Build, instrument, and orchestrate data services and infrastructure that interact with web and mobile clients, backend systems, customer data platforms, integrated marketing partners, and internal databases.

Build and iterate on identity solutions both internal and external that will map and connect our member experience for attribution and personalization.

What you’ll need :

Fluency in one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, Swift or Kotlin.

Proficient in SQL, HTML and Javascript.

Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka and ApacheMQ

Experience with Big Data Platforms such as AWS, Hadoop, Spark, PostgreSQL and Snowflake.

Experience with Analytics reporting platforms such as Google Analytics / Data Studio and Tableau.

Experience with Ad-buying platforms such as Facebook Ads, Google Marketing Platform (Google Ads, DV360, SA360), Verizon Media, TradeDesk and Bing.

Working knowledge of Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD)

Test driven development along with unit and integration testing.

Plus Experience with Customer Data Platforms such Mparticle, Segment or Tealium

Plus Experience in Financial Services and background in Data Science or Analytics.

Nice to Haves : Spring Boot, Kafka
