Our Oncology Chemotherapy Infusion unit compassionatelycares for cancer patients who are receiving chemotherapy through infusion (IV)therapy, where therapies and medications are administered directly into ourpatients’ bloodstreams.

Your day.

As an Oncology Chemo Infusion RN you need to know how to :

  • Recognize and address patients’ psychologicaland physical needs
  • Foster continuity and quality of care with thebest interest and well-being of patients and their families in mind
  • Assess a patients’ medical status upon admission
  • Assist in developing individualized treatmentplans
  • Comply with evaluation, treatment anddocumentation guidelines
  • Oversee care delivered by LPNs and / or CNAs
  • Participate in clinical team conferences
  • Continually expand your knowledge
  • Help improve our facility and safety programs
  • Follow hospital, regulatory and professionalguidelines, policies and procedures
  • Communicate compassionately and effectively
  • Your experience.

    We hire people, not resumes. But we also expectexcellence, which is why we require :

  • ASN / ADN from an accredited program with theability to obtain your BSN from an accredited program within four (4) years ofhire unless you possess a minimum of fifteen (15) years of proven continuousRegistered Nurse experience in an acute care setting, required
  • Current Colorado RN license or ability toobtain, required
  • Current BLS certification, required
  • At least one (1) year of nursing experience in acomparable setting, highly preferred
