    This position supports the Information Protection Technologies Data Management and Reporting function. This position will be accountable for providing data analysis specific to the deployment and proper use of data protection / encryption controls.

    The function is responsible for gathering, transforming, analyzing, and tracking encryption compliance activities. The function will serve as the focal point for communicating and supporting activities and interactions with key stakeholders Enterprise wide.

    The specific duties of this position include, but are not limited to :

  • Extract, load, and transform (ETL) data from disparate systems.
  • Collect data from multiple data sources and format for reporting team.
  • Develop initial data sources to a future state database / Splunk source.
  • Overcome data formatting and data quality challenges.
  • Applies business rules to data.
  • Provide data to reporting team / tools.
  • Manages the data and data environment used for data at rest protection.
  • Performs data analysis to identify issues and trends.
  • Assist data management team in dba activities.
  • Provides back support for the Business Applications Analyst role.
  • Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of data management experience
  • 5+ years of business systems analysis or design experience
  • 3+ years of experience with Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) concepts
  • 5+ years of reporting experience, analytics experience or a combination of both
  • 5+ years of experience creating pivot tables and performing data analysis in Excel
  • 5+ years of experience with data analysis and documentation
  • 3+ years of experience tracking data, compiling / mining data from multiple cross business sources, or a combination of both
  • 3+ years of experience recommending and participating in the development of complex analysis designs
  • 1+ year of experience with strong conceptual understanding of encryption
  • 5+ years of reporting experience, analytics experience, or a combination of both; or a BS / BA degree or higher in a quantitative field such as applied math, statistics, engineering, physics, accounting, finance, economics, econometrics, computer sciences, or business / social and behavioral sciences with a quantitative emphasis and 3+ years of reporting experience, analytics experience, or a combination of both
  • Desired Qualifications

  • Knowledge and understanding of security policies, standards, and best practices documentation development
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
  • Advanced problem solving and technical troubleshooting capabilities
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of research and analysis
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Other Desired Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of or experience with encryption key management
  • Experience with Unix, Oracle (SQL or Unix), MySQL, SQL, AS400 and Mongo data repositories
  • Ability to be a self-starter and function individually in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to manage complex issues and develop solutions
  • Proven written and verbal communication skills with both Business / Management and Technical / Engineering resources
  • Ability to work effectively under aggressive timelines
  • Proven ability to provide excellent customer service and handle challenging end users professionally
  • Ability to work well with both local and remote team members and partner teams
  • Experience with or strong conceptual understanding of encryption or related data protection technologies
