Friday Job Summary / Purpose :

Job Location is on the Bend Campus.

Support the Forestry, Automotive, EMS, Structural Fire Science, Wild land Fire Science and Military Science programs by performing such tasks as : general office duties, filing, campus errands, various data entry tasks, upkeep of monthly data reports and other clerical duties as assigned.

Essential Functions :

  • Scan and copy and collate materials
  • Download and move documents and media
  • Sorting and filing
  • Running campus errands
  • Other clerical duties as assigned
  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :

  • Knowledge of and experience with filing and organization
  • Experience with office equipment
  • MS Word, Outlook and Excel skills required
  • Reliable
  • Able to work independently
  • Ability to prioritize and organize workload
  • Good customer service skills
  • Physical Demands and Other Ergonomic Requirements :

    Able to complete the essential job functions listed above with or without reasonable accommodation.

    Work occurs in an ordinary office, mostly sitting. Extended standing with some lifting is possible occasionally. Lifting of objects under 50 pounds occurs at times.

    Must be able to climb or pull self upward, kneel, stoop, crawl and crouch. All individuals are required to be able to perform the essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

    Minimum Qualifications :

    1.Must have been awarded and accepted Federal Work-Study for 2017-18.

    2.Successfully pass a background check.

    3.Willingness to take direction from staff and / or students

    4.Good interpersonal communication skills

    Special Qualifications :

  • Prefer minimum one-year office related experience or demonstrated ability to learn quickly.
  • Ideally, we would like someone who is interested in working Fall 2017 term through Spring 2018 term.
