We’re now looking for an Territory Sales Manager to join our growing Post-Acute team. What makes you stand out is your passion for what your work means coupled with your ability to listen to customers and respond with appropriate urgency.
The Opportunity :
Must live in Sacramento CA area
Must have background in the Post-Acute space.
The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for establishing and maintaining customer relationships in the Long Term Care, Skilled Nursing, DME and distributor market selling Molnlycke's world-leading Would Care products.
This role offers competitive base salary, quarterly commissions and a company car!
Responsibilities will include :
Representing Molnlycke in sales calls and negotiations to achieve established sales goals for products within your Post Acute assigned territory
Develop new and / or expands business with Wound Care / Post-Acute customers through introduction of new products,
Work with Distributor management and Distributor sales representatives to coordinate sales and marketing efforts, expand business opportunities, and increase customer service
Identify and resolve customer problems through contact with customer service department to ensure satisfaction and service, and promote needs awareness
Maintains variety of contacts within Molnlycke to gather and exchange information related to sales goals and results, product availability and pricing, marketing strategies and plans, status of orders, and so forth
Responsible for sales administration activities such as completing sales paperwork, maintaining customer records, preparing routine expense, sales, and activity reports, assisting with special projects, analyzing individual customer product mix and sales volume, and processing orders
Performs other duties as assigned
Intermediate level computer knowledge in all MHC supplied business software (i.e. sales reports, forms, orders, records, business plans, etc.)
High level of communication skills necessary to represent Company in accounts, describe product features and advantages, and negotiate sales
Internal Contacts : Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service departments in order to coordinate and follow up on sales, identify leads, and resolve problems
External Contacts : Current and potential customers to conduct formal presentations, negotiate and close sales, and develop business opportunities
Education and Experience :
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or related field from an accredited college / university
3 - 5 years’ experience in business-to-business (B2B) sales; experience in medical device is strongly preferred.
For those roles in Post-Acute, post-acute experience strongly preferred.
Knowledge of sales and a high level of communication and negotiation skills
Additional Information (if appropriate) :
Overnight travel expectation is 65+%, at times on very short notice
Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs., stand for long periods of time and walk long distances
Must hold valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Must be able to obtain and maintain required credentialing to perform job
Maintain all company owned property to company standards and in proper working condition
Performs all Company business in accordance with all regulations (i.e. EEO, FDA, DEA, OSHA, etc.) and Company policies and procedures
Maintains professional image that reflects positively on the Company
Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs., sit, stand, and walk for long distances and stoop
Must have manual dexterity to use computer keyboard, iPad and mobile telephone (50% of work time)
Must have visual acuity to read and interpret data on computer screen
Understand, provide and carry out oral instructions
Work with minimum amount of supervision
