Responsibilities : Segment Marketing
Develops market insights to drive the segment strategy, including identification of key market & technology trends, retail & chemical market activities, customer needs, and competitive activities.
Gathers and regularly updates market intelligence on segment and sub-segment size, growth rates, and participation levels based on prioritization aligned with the Marketing Manager.
Synthesizes insights into strategic recommendations.
Continuously scans the market for short-term and long-term growth opportunities. Translates identified opportunities into workable business plans in coordination with the Marketing Manager.
Supports in development of plans and activities around strategy roll-out along with monitoring and evaluating sales force performance.
Works closely with the Marketing Manager to perform gap analyses to identify opportunities for future products and application areas for the segments.
Develops new application knowledge working cross-functionally in global and regional teams as well as with distribution partners.
Provides regular training to sales on new product features, applications, market trends, and competitor differentiation.
Business Development & Engagements
Develops and executes operational marketing activities to broaden Clariant brand awareness in I&I and Home Care industry.
Collaborates cross-functionally to support and articulate capabilities, enlist support to provide understanding of customer needs and requirements, and proactively manage marketing developments.
Visits customers to assist with product launches, trend setting presentations, and market intelligence gathering to generate new prospect leads, advance existing opportunities and support customer retention.
Conducts innovation and other types of workshops with customers to generate new development projects.
Acts as a bridge between customers and Clariant product development resources, provides customers with claim support through collaboration with customers’ R&D and marketing staff.
Together with marketing and communications, defines annual communication plans (digital, exhibitions, conference presentations, advertisements, etc.
for the IHC segments.
Responsible for managing marketing communication tools including emailers; webinars; data analytics across Consumer Care segments (IHC and PC support role) to support in increasing brand awareness and market penetration in respective segments.
Interfaces with internal marketing and communications teams along external vendors to develop contents and leverage the tools to execute on communication plans.
Responsible for compliance with corporate branding guidelines and executes regional branding activities, in coordination with Regional and Global Communications.

Experience and / or knowledge in Home Care / I&I industries (I&I preferred) or Care Chemicals industries
2-4 years of experience in Marketing, or Marketing Communications
Experience identifying market and / or technology trends and assimilating the data to support strategic decision-making
Ability to effectively manage multiple projects / tasks of varying complexities, meet deadlines and work well under pressure.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines is essential for a fast-paced environment
