We are currently looking for a Site Manager to join the ENERCON Team in New Orleans,

In this role, your Key Responsibilities will be to :

  • Design Engineering Drawing Review Contractor shall provide Engineering support services to review, verify and validate engineering and design work provided by the EPC Contractor for compliance with the EPC agreements, compliance with EPC’s Engineering Plan, compliance with all state and local codes, and review for any fatal flaws, and recommend any improvements that the owner may want to consider during the engineering phase of the project as requested by the Owner.
  • The Contractor shall provide engineering services to participate and provide recommendations on constructability reviews of equipment and piping models generated by EPC contractor for the project, including, participating in 3D model reviews and Hazop reviews.
  • General Tasks It is required that the Contractor executes the work under this contract in a responsible and professional manner by means of the following activities :
  • Administration e.g. maintaining records of all information generated during this contract.

    Participate in regular meetings with the Owner to inform them of progress and issues.

    Conduct all activities in accordance with the agreed-to Project Procedures.

    Maintain the confidentiality of the Owner and EPC contractor information.

    Participates in all EHS activities as required by the project team.

    Participate in progress payment and change / claim validation process.

    As a qualified candidate, you will have the above experience and meet the below requirements :

  • B.S. in civil engineering from an accredited university
  • 4+ years experience in civil engineering with a structural emphasis. Experience with nuclear power is preferred.
  • PE License or Willingness to obtain PE
  • Prior experience in the design of steel and concrete foundations and frame structures
  • Demonstrated proficiency in preparation of civil calculations
  • Broad knowledge of industry and regulatory standards pertaining to the power industry a plus
  • Proficient in Word and Excel
  • Proficient in at least one general purpose structural analysis computer code (e. g. GTStrudl, STAAD, ANSYS)
  • Good writing, presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to be an individual contributor and work effectively in teams
  • Familiar with concrete and steel design codes and with working stress and ultimate strength design approaches
  • Familiar with the International Building code and building code design
  • Willing to travel to a plant site for meetings and / or assignment. Assignments vary based on project and client needs, ranging from a few weeks to several months.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment and random drug and alcohol screenings; ENERCON and client specific background checks;
  • and an annual motor vehicle record (MVR) according to company and client policies

  • Ability to travel 15%-25%; duration of travel may vary depending on project and client needs, ranging from a few days to a few weeks
