    The Education Success Manager (CSM) proactively drives successful implementations of our products at both the school and district levels.

    While working in tandem with his / her counterpart in sales, our CSM strategically guides product usage, building engagement, and customer satisfaction through on-site and remote interactions, professional learning events, and planning sessions to increase territory renewal rates and reach more children.

    The CSM effectively applies both an analytical and interpersonal approach to their customer relationships. They use their expertise to coach district administrators, principals, and teacher leaders to ensure a successful partnership, ultimately transforming the lives of the students we serve.

    The Customer Success Manager uses a Customer Relationship Management software to help monitor their accounts and remain proactive in their approach.

    A separate Customer Care team assists customers with day-to-day technical needs, while Customer Success Managers proactively assist customers before their needs fully develop.

    CSMs must be highly strategic and able to offer true implementation consulting to their accounts. The ideal candidate has strong business acumen, knowledge of the education system, account management experience, and can set and achieve goals.

    This position involves frequent travel (up to 60%) and requires occasional lifting of equipment up to 40 pounds.

    The territory for this position is for the New York City area.

    Education / Certification

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Education degree preferred or work in education-related field
  • Required Knowledge and Experience

  • Preferred experience with account management in a SaaS industry or experience as a school administrator
  • Experience coaching and consulting administrators in an education setting
  • Ability to demonstrate a passion for K-12 education
  • Knowledge of math, literacy, bilingual and dual language curriculum and research
  • Experience delivering professional development sessions and knowledge of adult learning
  • Experience utilizing a CRM (like NetSuite, Gainsight, or Salesforce) preferred
  • Skills / Abilities

  • Self-motivated and self-driven
  • Ability to establish priorities, maintain schedules, and manage time effectively
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills and previous experience training with technology products
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, customer service, and relationship building at all levels, including district administrators
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and complete multiple urgent tasks given a short timeline
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to build strong relationships with teachers and administrators
  • Ability to adjust on the fly, be flexible, and be able to adapt to the immediate or unforeseen challenges
  • Superb computer skills, particularly Outlook, MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Technical expertise, including basic understanding of hardware configuration, general networking, computer and mobile operating systems
  • Organization / project management skills
