Summary of Position :
The Expo is a key position within the restaurant; it is the one position that connects the back of the house with the front of the house.
This position acts almost as the last line of defense before any food item is delivered to a guest. It is crucial the expo has strong means of communicating and is able to address many items that are in need of attention all at once.
Duties & Responsibilities :
Responsible for all food items coming out of the expo window.
The Expo ensures all items are made to spec and according to the guests’ modification.
The Expo is responsible for garnishing plates with the necessary condiments and placing the condiments in the appropriate location according to plate presentations.
The Expo is the sole person, other than managers, to communicate with the kitchen.
Orders are sent following Native Grill and Wing Time Standards.
Responsible for placing complete orders of food on trays and sending out those trays in a timely, efficient manner.
