The Global Supply Chain (GSC) organization is seeking a driven individual for a Principle Supply Chain Subcontract Specialist (PSCSS) role with a focus on major subcontracts for the BACN and NTASC Operating Units.

The SCSS position is an exciting opportunity to be part of dynamic programs supporting our warfighters and allies while interacting with the company's most important and highest profile suppliers.

The candidate should have a general understanding of Supply Chain Management (SCM) principles - materials management, procurement, subcontracts, cost management, supplier quality, production, and logistics as well as FAR and DFARS regulations.

  • The role includes but is not limited to preparation of RFP packages; conducting bidder’s conferences; analyzing and evaluating subcontractor proposals;
  • negotiating subcontract price and terms; Managing performance of subcontractors; ensuring compliance with all public law requirements as well as company (and business) policies and procedures.

  • The SCSS will employ sound business practices to assess supplier performance as part of follow-up activities; review and approve subcontractor payments;
  • utilize process tools with subcontractors to drive quality, efficiency and continuous improvement. In conjunction with the Quality organization, the SCSS will also evaluate and monitor subcontractor quality and reliability as well as the subcontractor’s ability to support required delivery schedules.


    Basic Qualifications :

  • 6+years of experience in subcontracts, procurement and / or contracts withBachelor’s Degree;
  • 4+years of experience in subcontracts, procurement and / or contracts with Master’sDegree;
  • USCitizenship and Proficiencyin MS Office Suite;Mustpossess strong organization, communication and writing skills

    Preferred Qualifications :

  • CPSM,CSCP or similar Certification;
  • Workingknowledge of SAP;
  • Experiencemanaging major / high dollar international subcontracts;
  • Experienceand working knowledge of U.S. Government contracting and the FederalAcquisition Regulation (FAR) / Defense Federal Acquisitions Regulation Supplement(DFARS)
