Contractor will use expertise to provide best-in-class business solutions to help TPWD achieve business objectives towards the implementation efforts of SharePoint Cloud services.
Roles and responsibilities to include administration, development and educational training activities pertaining to SharePoint cloud services.
Contractor will also be responsible for SharePoint Design and assist with the administration of the agency’s enterprise SharePoint environment.
In the SharePoint design role, create and modify SharePoint site collections with multiple sites and subsites and must be able to provide responsive mobile design site solutions and implementation, unique navigational elements, custom content types and site columns, site pages, web part pages, workflows, retention policies, and governance policies.
Provide SharePoint end-user training, one-on-one and within a classroom setting.
Design and program for new and existing SharePoint out-of-the-box products and using third party SharePoint applications (enhancements and new product development) that meet business needs, specifically related to responsive mobile design and workflow management.
Identify data needs, including access, security, and maintenance requirements.
Influence and clearly relate technical alternatives to business objectives, using effective communications with customers.
Recommend design alternatives, considering benefits and limitations to users based on in-depth understanding of business needs.
Minimum Requirements : Years Skills / Experience 3 Experience in migrating websites from various platforms and open source content management system to SharePoint Cloud solution.
3 Experience in implementing SharePoint workflows out-of-the-box, and workflow customizations and using various tools such as PowerShell, SharePoint Designer, K2 and Nintex.
3 Experience with mobile web design and responsive web design and conversion and or customization into SharePoint Cloud environment.
3 Experience and ability to migrate on premise Microsoft SharePoint 2003 to SharePoint Cloud Services and newer versions of SharePoint.
3 Experience with SP migrations from 2003-2013 or 2007-2010 or 2010-2013 3 Experience and ability to deliver new and complex high quality solutions to clients in response to varying business requirements.
3 Experience in SharePoint Content Management, configuration of SharePoint Search, Document Management implementation and Taxonomy.
3 Able to lead and educate development team on SharePoint / Office 365 Software Development Lifecycle 3 Ability to educate, train and champion SharePoint technology 3 Able to distinguish between no-
code "Out of the Box" solutions and when SharePoint customization is required 3 Assist with user acceptance testing and the preparation of user manuals and training for Share Point2013 or higher applications.
3 Provide input to solve complex / difficult issues with tact and diplomacy 3 Recommends tools, processes, priorities and resources necessary to manage, analyze, design and implement Microsoft’s best practices 3 Possess high level analytical ability and creativity to analyze complex / new situations, anticipates potential problems and future trends, assesses opportunities, impacts and risks while developing and implementing plans and producing solutions to client problems 3 Delivers and develops Collaboration solutions including some custom application development solutions for clients 3 Produce and maintain documentation for supported systems including architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and detailed design documents.
