based model for solving homelessness and criminal recidivism. We empower people to break the cycles of homelessness, welfare dependency, substance abuse, and incarceration through innovative work and housing programs.
We are seeking a Full Time Residence Manager for The Doe Fund’s newest permanent supportive housing program for homeless men and women living with HIV / AIDS.
The program is designed to provide long-term residential care and twenty-four hour support services in a community environment that maximizes residents’ independence while ensuring their physical and emotional security and well-
being. Seventy-four units will be allocated for residents referred by the New York City HIV / AIDS Services Administration (HASA) and forty-
nine apartments will be for families referred by the New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA).
The Residence Manager is responsible for the supervision of the residents and the overall operation of the facility during designated shifts.
S / he will work collaboratively with the Clinical team and the Program Director to ensure that resident needs are being met as well as safety of the facility.
The successful candidate will have strong communication skills along with an understanding of working with the HIV / AIDS population.
The shifts that we are looking to cover are : Monday Friday 4 : 00pm to 12 : 00am OR 12 : 00am to 8 : 00am.
Salary commensurate with experience.
