Job description

Cleans public and office areas of casino following a preset schedule. The facility is divided into cleaning areas or sections and job assignments are made based on those areas.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education and / or Experience

Prior cleaning, janitorial or hotel housekeeping experience preferred. General knowledge of cleaning chemicals is preferred.

Language Skills

Ability to read, write, speak and understand English strongly preferred.

Physical Demands

  • While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand for prolonged periods of time; walk;
  • use hands and fingers to handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

    The employee must regularly lift and / or move up to 25

    pounds. An employee performing heavy duty assignments may be required to lift and / or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

    Work Environment

    While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to secondary smoke and toxic or caustic chemicals and may be required to work with hand and power equipment.

    The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
