We are seeking a driven sales professional to join our growing company. This position will be selling locating services to utility companies within an assigned multi-

state territory. We offer a competitive base salary plus an uncapped incentive opportunity. You may work out of our District offices or from your home office.

Responsibilities :

  • Assists in developing and fully owns executing a sales strategy that ensures attainment of sales and profitability goals
  • Prepares and executes action plans for effective search and follow-up of sales leads and opportunities
  • Assists in the development and implementation of marketing plans
  • Provides timely, accurate, competitive pricing within approval procedure to maximize close rate
  • Ensures that activities meet / exceed standards for prospecting calls, appointments, presentations, proposals and closes
  • Maintains accurate records of all activities, pricings, and sales reports in CRM / Salesforce
  • Creates and conducts proposal presentations and RFP responses
  • Controls expenses to meet budget guidelines, including events and trade shows participation
  • Coordinates departmental customer interaction in terms of service capabilities and account set-up
  • Sets examples in areas of personal character, commitment, organizational and selling skills, and work habits
  • Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes
  • Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field preferred
  • 5-7 years of experience in sales and / or sales management preferred
  • Utility and / or construction services sales experience a plus
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% and work in a team of professionals
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to drive sales results
  • Very strong organizational and time management skills
  • High level of verbal and written communications skills and demonstrated ability to interact with clients and co-workers
  • Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM / Salesforce
