We’re seeking a Transfer Pricing Senior Manager, based in Farmington, Connecticut, who’s ready to help us deliver on our commitments today, plan our strategy for the future and leave their fingerprints on the organization for years to come by supporting and overseeing transfer pricing for Otis around the world.

Essential Responsibilities

Employee Scholar Program

  • Communicates, supports and coordinates with other members of the Otis Tax Group and the Otis Functional Groups (e.g., Controllers, Legal, Operations) concerning transfer pricing-
  • related tax matters, including tangible-product pricing; the use of intangible property, including royalties and R&D reimbursement;
  • and intercompany services

  • Supports U.S. and non-U.S. transfer-pricing documentation
  • Supports both U.S. and non-U.S. transfer-pricing tax audits
  • Coordinates outside legal, tax and accounting service providers
  • Supports the Tax Planning group on various transfer pricing matters
  • Education / Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, economics, finance or a related discipline
  • An advanced degree (JD or MST) and / or CPA is preferred
  • Basic Qualifications

  • Eight to ten years of related tax and / or transfer-pricing experience
  • Ability to understand complex tax and apply business facts

  • Ability to drive business change and to implement complex tax projects
  • Ability to recognize key issues and effectively communicate them to management and service providers in an articulate and concise manner
