DescriptionThe Consumer Marketing Manager is a leader on driving consumer acquisition through innovative and compelling marketing and brand development.
This role will help drive the consumer advertising, branding, and word of mouth marketing for a highly successful portfolio of Core-
genre mobile Free to Play games, such as WWE and The Walking Dead. This person must be able to deliver with hands on management of creative execution, acquisition strategies, and promotion.
This role works in partnership with Product Growth, User Acquisition, and Distribution, teams to build and optimize marketing and advertising that drives consumer awareness, interest, and conversion.What will you do?
Responsible for creating digital advertising plans and content to align with marketing strategies
Write creative briefs for internal and external creative teams to ensure we produce best in class creative consistent across all channels and resonates with consumers
Work closely with User Acquisition partner on continuously ideating and testing the most effective performance advertising campaigns that are both on brand and deliver excellent KPIs
Work closely with Growth partner to understand product updates and new game features in order to create digital advertising content to support
Manage pipeline of creative deliverables from external agencies and in-house Creative team
Review, provide feedback, and approve advertising, app store, and marketing creative
A leader in driving integrated launches and ongoing marketing plans for each game in partnership with other team members, across performance, social acquisition, PR, promotions, and community functions
Support day to day marketing relationship with IP holder and developer
What do you need?
3-5+ years of consumer marketing experience, preferably in mobile gaming or entertainment
Experience working with mass IP entertainment brands : film, TV, toy, or game brands such as WWE, The Walking Dead or Star Trek is a benefit
Strong experience in developing / driving impactful creative campaigns, and excellent creative and aesthetic judgement
Experience in developing digital advertising and marketing programs, in both US & International markets
Experience in mobile user acquisition advertising
Licensing Experience a plus
Cross-functional leadership experience
