Responsible for production control activities in support of manufacturing operations. Main responsibilities include work order creation, component issues, cycle counting, and documentation support based on released production schedules.

Miscellaneous support activities for Manufacturing and Materials also part of responsibilities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Maintain high levels of accuracy in materials inventory transfers and data entry
  • Ensure all QAD production and inventory-related transactions are completed in a timely manner
  • Support CER in backflush of components to work orders and work order completions via QAD transactions
  • Assist in analysis of work order variances and trends. Assist in analysis of work order or inventory discrepancies
  • Fully cross-trained in all production control activities
  • Assist Materials team in providing Kanban component fulfilment and cycle count processes
  • Provide work order support to meet production schedules
  • Under general supervision, responsible for performing core production control activities, and for ability to independently solve non-routine issues
  • Maintain compliance to GMP / QSR systems in accordance with Access Closure Quality System
  • Comply with written company policies and procedures
  • Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level
  • Follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition
  • Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Responsible for ensuring compliance with Quality Procedures, Laws and Regulations of the applicable markets
  • Performs other duties assigned as needed
  • EDUCATION / TRAINING and / or EXPERIENCE :

  • HS Diploma and a minimum of 4 years experience in a manufacturing environment, AA preferred
  • REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES and CERTIFICATIONS / LICENSES :

  • QAD experience desirable.
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and applicable Quality System Standards.
  • Effective written and verbal communications skills
  • Proficiency in basic mathematical skills, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Ability to lift up to 40lbs
  • ADDITIONAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS Include whether or not position will be required to work in clean room, near or with heavy machinery, ability to lift heavy objects, ability to wear protective gear in lab, etc

  • Work includes potential exposure to human bloodborne pathogens or other potentially infectious materials.
  • Work includes potential exposure to chemicals.
