    PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

    As a Procurement and Supply Chain Consultant, you will combine your functional supply chain expertise and project management capabilities with other broad skills and experiences in process reengineering, compliance, and systems to help clients drive business change within their procurement and supply chain operations.

  • KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE

  • Demonstrate proven knowledge and success supporting teams through the design and implementation of changes to supply chain operations, including people, process and technology
  • Collaborate with clients across a range of industries, size and complexity to develop and execute procurement strategies
  • Institute policies and procedures for collecting and reporting key metrics that will reduce overall expenses while increasing productivity
  • Perform cost analysis, set appropriate procurement benchmarks and create policies and procedures for risk management and mitigation
  • Help clients drive bottom line results by integrating solutions across the key stakeholder groups including suppliers, production, physical logistics and customers
  • DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or a related field required; Master’s degree is preferred
  • Minimum 7 years of experience working in large (Fortune 1000) companies and / or management consulting firms
  • Experience conducting assessments, performing gap analyses and making recommendations to the senior leaders related to procurement and / or supply chain initiatives
  • Demonstrated experience in management, planning, logistics or warehouse experience, as well as experience with IT solutions
  • Strong project management and analytical skills
  • Ability to execute on recommended solutions, while leading client teams through the project life cycle
  • Experience with ERP or other supply chain software is a plus
  • Lean Six Sigma Certification or PMP Certification is a plus
