    The Regional Demand Manager, Americas Automotive Coatings is responsible for the following activities within all four Manufacturing locations : Circleville, Adrian, Euclid and Cleveland.

  • Support process related improvements through Project Work and participant in Rapid Improvement Workshops.These activities include all the supply chain functions of demand planning, production scheduling, customer service, and inventory control for these facilities.
  • Coordinate the functions of raw material procurement, receiving, inventory management, and finished goods inventory, so as to provide synergies between the locations enabling efficient plant operations, ensuring that all customer service requirements are met leading to an optimum return on investment.
  • Provide the necessary leadership and direction so as to integrate the Quality Process into all functions and lead continuous improvements in all areas of Materials Management.
  • Streamline data flow and processes at the Circleville, Adrian, and Euclid facilities. In addition, as process improvements occur, opportunities to centralize Supply Chain work should be identified.
  • Coordinate efforts in customer service and order servicing including managing sales forecasts and long range planning in terms of the Operations Planning function.
  • Provide expertise and drive continuous improvement initiatives in all areas related to materials management and implement consistent approaches and discipline across all locations.
  • Requirements :

  • Bachelors degree and a minimum of 5 years experience in related function
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills are required as well as the ability to design and implement change critical
  • Extensive knowledge of supply chain / operations planning.Must understand the relationship between demand planning, supply planning and production planning, in effort to support the whole supply chain group.
  • Ability to interact with Corporate IT and drive change.
  • A strong computer systems background.
  • Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • MS Access Programming
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing strategies
  • Knowledge of S&OP process
